AUBURN, Mass. – Santa’s scheduler is reminding residents to call up Tuesday night to give Santa their Christmas wish lists. From 6 to 8 p.m., Santa will visit the local access cable television offices at Auburn High School for the annual call-in TV show, said Auburn resident and show producer Wayne Page.

Children should call 508-832-5323 to speak with Santa and ask for gifts. The show will be aired on channel 13, the local cable station.

In addition, those who are interested in reading a story or singing a song during the program should call Page at 508-832-3581.

“We’ve been doing this for 10 years, and it’s always a fun time for the kids to call up and talk to Santa,” Page said.

“Thank you for organizing that and arranging for Santa to make that trip every year,” said Selectmen Chair Doreen Goodrich at last week’s meeting.

Auburn Mall’s “Surprise & Delight”

Shoppers should be on the lookout for mall management staff who are eager to thank shoppers for shopping at the Auburn Mall and may even give a holiday treat without warning. Holiday revelers could find themselves with gift certificates, a voucher for free coffee, a coupon for a free appetizer at a mall restaurant, candy, store specials and more.

Mall staff will be stationed near directories during holiday weekends and Christmas Eve ready to give directions, answer questions and distribute the popular “Retailer Showcase” with the mall’s best holiday offers and deals.
