Auburn Cultural Council Names Grant Recipients

AUBURN, Mass. — The Auburn Cultural Council released its list of grant recipients for the 2013 season.

The Auburn cultural council is funded by the Massachusetts Cultural Council, and its mission is to distribute allocated monies and create venues for a variety of arts and science endeavors to benefit Auburn residents.

It was a difficult process for the committee considering the number and variety of applications.

The recipients included:

  • Art in the Park at Auburn High School, Amanda Halsdorff
  • Having Fun with Fossils and Dinosaurs, Auburn Public Library
  • Falconry and the Medieval World, Auburn Public Library
  • Peter Rabbit Comes to Town, Auburn Women’s Club
  • Assemblies at Bryn Mawr and Julia Bancroft School, Scott Jameson
  • Go the Extra Mile, Sarah Connell
  • Ancient Art Form of India-Henna, Tammy Bailey
  • The Marble Collection Inc.
  • Summer Festival, Town of Auburn Council on Aging
  • Community Connections: Families and Seniors, Worcester Chamber Music Society
