AUBURN, Mass. – With the holidays approaching, an Auburn chiropractor is having a toy drive on Dec. 13 by providing medical services in exchange for toy donations.
Dr. Francis P. DeFalco of DeFalco Family Chiropractic in Auburn will be donating his time to collect toys for families in need. The drive will benefit the local community and the toys will be delivered to Auburn Youth and Family Services. All new patients and existing patients will get a free visit on Dec. 13 in exchange for a toy donation. These visits will include consultations, orthopedic and neurological exams, adjustments, therapy and report of findings.
“I’ve always been an advocate of giving back to the community,” DeFalco said. “It minimizes the financial burden, and it’s the right thing to do to help such a great cause.” DeFalco recently held a Thanksgiving food drive for Auburn Youth and Family Services.
To make an appointment for Dec. 13, call 508-407-8809. DeFalco Family Chiropractic is at 1 Saint Mark St. The office’s hours on Thursday are from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Throughout the fall at Auburn Youth and Family Services, individuals, businesses and organizations in the community can adopt a child and/or family during the holidays. Donors can provide funds, gifts or a food basket to assist families in need during the holiday season. All gifts purchased are $25 and under.
Donors are provided with a coded list of individual needs. Last year, Auburn Youth and Family Services helped hundreds of families through this program.
