Worcester Muslims Celebrate End Of Ramadan

WORCESTER, Mass. — The Pakistani/Indian community of Worcester will celebrate Eid al-Fitr, marking the end of Ramadan, Friday, Aug. 24, from 7 to 11 p.m. at Lady Mount Carmel Church in Worcester.

Dinner will be served at 7, followed by a discussion with Hassan Nisar, a syndicated columnist with the Geo News Network in Pakistan known for his views on Indian-Pakistani trade relations.

Tickets are $15 for adults, $10 for children, and can be purchased by visiting http://bostoneid.eventbrite.com.

Ramadan is a holy month of fasting for Muslims.
