AUBURN, Mass. -The smell of frosting, candy and baked goodies filled the air at Cub Scout Pack 53's Annual Father / Son Cake Bake on Friday at the Faith Baptist Church.

"It is a fun, friendly competition where only the boys and their fathers or other adult male is allowed to do all the baking, decorating and even the cleaning up afterwards," Christine Ganong said.

According to Pack 53 Cub Master Scott Taylor, the entire creation must be edible including the decorations and no female assistance is permitted.
