AUBURN, Mass. – The Bay Path Santa breakfast, a food drive and DJ skate at Horgan Arena and pet photos with Santa highlight the events around Auburn this weekend.

Saturday, Dec. 8

Bay Path’s Santa Breakfast: 8 to 11 a.m. The 4th annual pancake breakfast will be one of the major fund-raisers hosted by the Bay Path Education Foundation to raise funds for its activities. Santa greets the children and sits for pictures taken by professional photographers from Casson-Foster. All families receive a free portrait available before Christmas. The event also features face painting and a chance to win one of many donated holiday baskets and locally made gifts. Tickets are $5 per person, and it’s free for children 5 and younger. Have A Snack With Santa: 8:30 to 10 a.m. Auburn Mall invites kids to have a snack with Santa. Simon Kidgits Club Members are invited to wear pajamas and join Santa for a light breakfast and holiday fun. RSVP at guest services. Not a Kidgits Club Member? Sign-up at Guest Services for $5 for the year and become a part of the Kidgits Club. Auburn Mall, 385 Southbridge St.

Sunday, Dec. 9

DJ Public Skate & Food Drive: 2:10 to 4 p.m. FMC Ice Sports will be having its first charity food drive and public skate event. Attendees who donate two or more nonperishable food items for Auburn Youth and Family Services will receive a free public skate admission pass for a future visit to the rink. A live, ice-side DJ will be taking requests and playing today's hottest hits. Admission is $5, and it costs $5 to rent skates. Rental skates are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Pet Photos with Santa: 7:30 p.m. Bring your pets to visit Santa at the Auburn Mall so they can get their own turn on Santa’s lap. This is the perfect chance to capture a moment of your pets celebrating Christmas cheer. This special, pet-friendly opportunity is in addition to Santa’s regular hours. All four-legged furry friends under 60 pounds are invited. Guests and pets should use the mall entrance next to Forever21. Pets and owners will be limited to the Santa set area only. Pets must be leashed. Come prepared to clean up after your pet. Auburn Mall, 385 Southbridge St.
