Friday, Jan. 18

Free Skate: 6 to 9 p.m. Bring your own skates and enjoy some free hot cocoa on the ice. Prospect Street Ice Rink.

Saturday, Jan. 19

First Congregational Church Roast Beef Supper: 4 p.m. The price is $10 for adults and $5 for children. 128 Central St.

Winter Wonderland Skate: 2 to 4 p.m Join the staff of FMC Ice Sports for a live DJ Skate. Cost is $5 for admission and $5 for rental skates. Horgan Memorial Skating Park, 400 Oxford St. N.

Auburn vs. Wachusett Ice Hockey: 4 p.m. The Rockets will go up against the Mountaineers at the 3rd Annual High School Hockey Face-off. DCU Center, 50 Foster St., Worcester.

Viking Invasion At Higgins Armory 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Cost is $12 for adults, $8 for kids ages 4 to 16 and $10 for seniors. Higgins Armory Museum, 100 Barber Ave., Worcester.
