Polar Bear Activity Craft Time: 4:30 p.m. All ages are welcome, space is limited. Registration required. Auburn Public Library, 369 Southbridge St.

Teen Trivia Night: 5 p.m. Teens can test their knowledge of movies, books, music and more. Registration is required. The event is open to kids ages 10 to 18. Auburn Public Library, 369 Southbridge St.

Girls and Boys Basketball Doubleheader: 6 and 7:30 p.m. First up is the girls squad, which takes on Shepherd Hill Regional High School, followed by the boys, who face Shepherd Hill. Auburn High School, 99 Auburn St.

Saturday, Jan. 12

Ice Skating At Prospect Street Park: 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. Veterans Memorial Corridor, on Prospect Street between Routes 12 and 20.
