The Town of Auburn will be having its first-ever holiday tree lighting ceremony on Friday, Nov. 30 at Drury Square.

The fun-filled ceremony will be at 5:30 p.m. next to Fire Station Headquarters at Drury Square.

The ceremony will include a sing-a-long and caroling led by Zachary Cooper, an elementary music teacher in Auburn. The Bryn Mawr and Mary D. Stone Elementary School choirs will be singing Christmas carols.

In addition, there will be a special guest appearance from Santa.

There will also be free treats at the tree lighting, including hot cocoa, coffee and 300 cookies baked by culinary arts students at Bay Path Regional Vocational Technical High School.
