The event was attended by over 275 people and netted $33,000 for the YMCA’s Annual Campaign
This fundraising event featured specialty dishes from some of the area’s best restaurants, paired with wines specially selected by Zachy’s. Restaurants included X20, Peter Pratt’s, 808 Bistro, The Iron Tomato, Buttefield 8, Antonees Catering, City Limits Diner, Taleggio, Gaucho Grill, The Great American BBQ and many others and also featured desserts by The Melting Pot and City Limits and craft brewery wine tastings from The Yonkers Brewery.
A silent auction featured many food and culinary specialty items and “Dine Around” packages. Contributors included 42, Westchester Broadway Theatre, Crowne Plaza, Westchester Candle Company, Stella and Dot, Starbucks and KitchenAid.
Funds raised from this event support the White Plains YMCA Annual Campaign. Community contributions ensure that no one is ever turned away from camp, programs or membership due to a lack of financial resources.
The YMCA of Central and Northern Westchester also operates a community branch in Somers and owns Camp Combe in Putnam Valley. The YMCA fosters youth development, healthy living and social responsibility.
