Woman Loses $2,000 at Mt. Kisco Church Tag Sale

A woman attending a tag sale at the Presbyterian Church on Millwood Road in Mt. Kisco told police Friday that her pocketbook and the $2,000 inside it were stolen after she left the bag on the ground.

The woman told police that she put the bag on the floor and forgot it. When she returned to get it, the pocketbook was missing. The bag has not been returned and there are no suspects.

New Castle Police were called to a home on Random Farms Drive in Chappaqua June 7 after receiving a report of a stolen mailbox. Police were unable to locate the stolen postal box.

New Castle Police received a call Sunday afternoon about a verbal altercation between a worker and a customer at the new Shell gas station on 201 Saw Mill River Road in Millwood, near the Taconic Parkway.

On Monday morning New Castle police responded to a call about criminal mischief call at Millwood Park. Five sprinkler heads were damaged causing approximately $400 in damage.
