Alex Kershaw, author of "The Liberator"

Alex Kershaw will speak about his new book, The Liberator: One World War II Soldier’s 500 Day Odyssey from the beaches of Sicily to the Gates of Dachau at the Worcester JCC, 633 Salisbury St., Worcester, on Monday, November 12, at 7 pm. The Liberator is the true story of the bloodiest and most dramatic march to victory of the Second World War, following the battlefield odyssey of a U.S. Army officer and his infantry unit as they fought from the invasion of Italy to the liberation of the Dachau concentration camp.

Free and open to the public. There will be a dessert reception following the book signing.
