AUBURN, Mass. — The annual "Dancing with the Stars of Auburn" is always a big event, but it just got bigger.

Huge ticket sales led Auburn Youth and Family Services (AYFS) to move the event from the Sally McDermott Dance Centers to Motorsports International.

The event pairs notable community members with area dance instructors for an evening of fun and  fundraising for Auburn Youth and Family Services.

In past years, the event has raised anywhere from $12,000 to $15,000, according to Sheryl Spafford of ATFS. But, with so much demand for this year's performance, tickets sold out nearly a month before the event and AYFS has been putting people on a waiting list.

Now those wait-listed people will have a seat.

"Dancing with the Stars of Auburn" will be held at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 9, at Motorsports International  in Auburn, 444 Washington St.

For more information, contact Spafford at 508-832-5707, ext. 10.
