Auburn Senior Center Offers iPad Workshops

AUBURN, Mass. — To help residents learn about the newest technology, the Auburn Senior Center will offer an iPad for Beginners class starting March 7.

"There's so much you can get out of iPads that people don't know, so I wanted to offer this class," said Cheryl Westerman, assistant director of Elder Affairs.

The program is a great opportunity to learn, adding that the classes are open to all residents and seniors, Town Manager Julie Jacobson said.

The workshop, called "Get The Most Out of Your iPad," will cover basic capabilities for new iPad users, Westerman said.

Taught by Amanda Gage, the group will meet once a week on Thursdays for five weeks. Classes will be held at 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. starting March 7. The cost is $3 per class.

Although bringing an iPad is recommended, it is not required.

To sign up, call the Auburn Senior Center at 508-832-7799.
