AUBURN, Mass. — Hometown Bank’s newest branch has signed on as presenting sponsor of the 3rd Annual High School Hockey Face-off, and will be raffling tickets to the Auburn High School vs. Wachusett Regional High School game Jan. 19 at the DCU Center.
Hometown Bank’s Auburn Branch Manager, Tina Puzo, said she and her staff are excited to be supporting Auburn High School hockey.
Hometown Bank opened its Auburn branch inside Heritage Place, 569 Southbridge St., in September, and already ha been giving back to the community through sponsoring events like summer concerts and donations to the Auburn Youth and Family Services' food pantry.
Now, the bank will raffling off 10 pairs of tickets to the 4 p.m. Auburn vs. Wachusetts game, which includes admission to the 7 p.m. face-off between the Worcester Sharks and the Adirondack Phantoms.
Each winner also receives a pair of Hometown Bank/Sharks T-shirts.
To participate in the raffle, residents can visit the Auburn branch and submit an entry form to the box in the lobby. No purchase is necessary.
Puzo will be dropping the ceremonial first puck for the Auburn game and firing Hometown Bank T-shirts into the crowd during intermissions.
Sharks Marketing Director, Matt Cattachio, said the Jan. 19 event is expected to draw one of the Worcester club’s largest crowds of the season.
