AUBURN, Mass. – The Auburn Chamber of Commerce had a bustling 2012, and the business group is planning networking programs to get off to a great start this year.
There will be a joint Auburn and Webster/Dudley/Oxford Chamber Business After Hours event on Jan. 16 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
Hometown Bank at 567 Southbridge St. is hosting and sponsoring the evening of cross networking.
“This event will bring together two very strong and unique chambers for an evening of cross networking,” according to an event flier. “Join us for an evening of great food, friends and colleagues and you might walk away with a few new business contacts.”
It costs $10 for chamber members, $15 for non-chamber members and participants registering at the door will be charged an additional $5.
Then on Feb. 13 from 7:30 to 9 a.m., the Auburn Chamber will be having a networking breakfast program at the Auburn Webster Lodge of Elks at 754 Southbridge St.
Registration and the breakfast is planned from 7:30 to 8 a.m., and the program is set for 8 to 9 a.m. The speaker is still to be determined.
“These programs provide opportunities for members to meet, mingle and do business with each other,” according to an event flier. “The chamber’s breakfast program consists of informational speakers presenting on timely topics of interest to our business members.”
